Great news the Canon 5D Mark II is finally getting his long overdue makeover this March. Makes me wish I would have spent the extra 1000 bucks ;(
23.98 and 29.97 fps were expected but the Video Histogram and 48 kHz Manual Control Audio are fantastic additions. Hopefully they'll be nice and put those features on the 7D as well.

This camera just keeps getting better all the time though how we got from 21 to 30 in one release is perplexing..

The more I shoot with the RED, the more I wish I had one. I learned a lot in the past few weeks. Nothing new I'm sure as there are already thousands of pages of research out there but I like to work through things in my own way and come to my own conclusions. I'll be posting those conclusions very soon!
I've been working a lot lately with the new build, shooting and testing. My approach to shooting the camera is definitely evolving as I've discovered some interesting relationships between the monitor path and the R3D's.
