This is obviously a very useful looking product but it isn't much use to us Maccies as the brand new MBP's are unfortunately lacking in the USB 3 department. Questioning anything Apple does is an exercise in futility that I've long given up. Anyways, Blackmagic and other 3rd Parties are all over the USB 3 and hopefully Apple will join the party eventually.
